Stefan Malešević (1989) was born and raised in Belgrade, where he graduated at the Advanced School of Electrical Engineering. During studies he received the state scholarship and served as the chair of the Serbian Student Section of the Audio Engineering Society. Upon graduation, he enrolled in the PhD film.factory program in Sarajevo where he developed and produced several projects under the mentorship of Bela Tarr and other guest lecturers invited by Tarr (Gus van Sant, Fred Kelemen, Tilda Swinton, Carlos Reygadas, Cristian Mungiu, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Agniezska Holland...)
