Kristýna Michálek Květová founded the production company Cinémotif Films in 2016. Her documentary debut, The Sound Is Innocent by Johana Ožvold, premiered three years later at the Visions du Réel festival. She also produced Fiona Ziegler's feature debut Lost in Paradise (Solothurn FF), Vojtěch Mašek’s debut Arvéd (Czech Lions and Czech Film Critics’ Awards), Veronika Lišková's documentary The Visitors (Semaine de la Critique - Locarno), and the hybrid documentary Photophobia (Venice IFF). Her most recent film, The Year of the Widow by Veronika Lišková, premiered at the Warsaw IFF last year. Kristýna is a graduate of international programs such as EURODOC, ACE, Midpoint, Les Arcs, and Ex Oriente. In 2024, she was selected for Producers on the Move at the Cannes Film Festival.
