Lara Grozdanić was born in 1998 in Munich. She grew up in Sarajevo, where she attended École française de Sarajevo. She graduated from Durham University, with a degree in French and Spanish literature. Lara has worked in the film industry since she was only 18 years old. For years she has worked for the Sarajevo Film Festival across different departments. She is a long-term associate of the multi-awarded production house SCCA/pro.ba as a development and production coordinator. Lara also collaborates with acclaimed Spanish production house La Claqueta on feature films and series in development. For the past two years she has worked as main producer in production house Realstage. Besides her filmmaking career, she is a published author, of poetry collection entitled “If I could tell you".
