After graduating from the Sound and Editing Department and receiving his MA in Film Production from the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale” Romania, Radu Stancu set up his own production company deFilm Production. He produced short films (“Horizon” by P. Negoescu, “Stuck on Christmas” by I. Rugina, “Blu” and “12 minutes” by N. C. Tanase, “Bomberman” by B. Nemethi) that screened at festivals such as TIFF, Cannes, Brest, Sarajevo and many more. Radu collaborated with Romanian director Cristi Puiu on his latest short film “Revelion”, which was a part of the “Bridges of Sarajevo” omnibus. DeFilm has currently 3 feature films in post-production stage: “The World Is Mine” by N. C. Tanase and the documentaries “Bondoc” by M. Mincan and “Iezer Station 15 033” by Iulia Matei.
