Mariam Bitsadze, a dynamic filmmaker from Georgia, is a dedicated producer known for her compelling short films that blend documentary elements. Her passion for sharing human stories and contributing to Georgian society through cinema is evident in her previous documentary, "Death Told Life," directed by Nona Giunashvili. With a background in Psychology and an MA in Audio-Visual Arts, Mariam brings a unique perspective to her work. Co-founding the production company 17/07, she has produced captivating art-house films. Mariam's vibrant storytelling and commitment to talent have established her as a prominent figure in Georgian cinema.
In addition to her local involvement, Mariam actively contributes to the growth and development of the industry as a board member of the Georgian Documentary Film Association, member of DAE & EWA. Furthermore, she is currently engaged in international projects, collaborating with Elsa Kremser and Levin Peter on their latest endeavour. Mariam's versatility and dedication continue to shape the cinematic landscape, both locally and beyond.
