Graduating from Film and Audio-visual Culture Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, Vitezslav has worked for Czech Television and several film festivals, including Cinema Mundi, Karlovy Vary IFF, Ji.hlava IDFF, and Mezipatra IQFF. As a journalist, Vítězslav has contributed to various Czech outlets, including 25fps and Film a doba, and he continues to write for the magazine Cinepur. He also serves as an advisor to the programming team of the One World Human Rights Film Festival in Prague. In September 2017, he joined the team of the Czech Film Center, a division of the Czech Film Fund, where he is responsible for promoting Czech documentaries and short films abroad. In 2023, Vitezslav launched Mad Reels, a festival distribution initiative for short films and feature documentaries.
