Born in Saratov. Graduated from the department of directing at VGIK ( Workshop of A. Kochetkov). Worked at «Mosfilm», Russia Central Documentary film studio, Nizhne-Volzhsk studio of film chronicle, TV channel «Кultura», Pater TV (Vatican) and others. Scriptwriter and director of more than 30 documentaries and one feature «Нalf a Sheet of Paper». Author of two books of poetry. Prize winner of several film festivals.
