Magdalena Petrović obtained her degree in Drama, Art and Music Studies (DAMS) at the University of Bologna (Italy). She worked as TV journalist (RTL Croatia), producer of documentaries and animation (Fade In, Zagreb film).
From 2006 till 2010 she was managing director and producer of the awards winning Croatian documentary studio Fade In. She is member of the Croatian Producer’s Guild, and Berlinale Talent Campus alumni.
Since the end of 2010 she lives in Paris and works with independent filmmakers, film festivals and workshops, and foreign crews.
Recently, with the award winning documentarist Tatjana Božić, she co-founded the company LEWA productions based in Zagreb.
