Igor Savychenko began his career in the film industry as a screenwriter but quickly found himself working as a producer.
After 16 years, his works include 10 full-length features, 7 full-length documentaries and more than 30 shorts.
7 of the full-length features were premiered at class “A” festivals. In total, 24 of Igor’s films have been screened in class “A” festivals, winning 7 awards. A number of the films were box office leaders in Ukraine.
Igor was actively involved in developing the screenplays for most of these films.
His best-known are: When the Trees Fall, The Forgotten, One Day in Ukraine, The Painted Bird, Brama/The Gateway, Voices from Chornobyl.
