Luca Bellino and Silvia Luzi investigate ways of resistance to power, in all its forms.They told the Venezuelan epic of the socialist revolution of Hugo Chavez and its contradictions (The Threat, 2008), and the fearless struggle of the Milan workers, climbing a 20 metres high gantry crane to avoid the closure of their factory (On the Art of War, 2012). Both titles are awardwinning. The work of Luzi and Bellino as directors and producers - focused on the theoretical analysis of counter-power systems - leading them to choose film projects with a strong social impact. Crater is the film they are working on as directors and producers. The title won the Pulse Doc Genesis Fund by Britdoc and the development fund of MIBACT, and is co-produced with Rai Cinema.
