Kristina Leidenfrostova was born in Bratislava in 1991. After studying documentary and fiction filmmaking at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) she worked as a scriptwriter and director on documentary series broadcast by Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS). Her first short documentary “Hniezdo / The Nest”, 2015 premiered at Krakow Film Festival and was screened at various other festivals. Her next film was the portrait of a Slovak ex-prime minister Ján Čarnogurský (“Expremieri / Ex-Premierminister”, 2016). After moving to Austria, she received the „Starting scholarship for filmart 2022“, by the Austrian Ministry of Arts & Culture - a special grant for upcoming filmmakers. „600 Raids“ is Kristinas feature-length debut.
