Petko Gyulchev graduated from the New Bulgarian University in Cinematography, Directing and Television production in 2000. He took a television producing course by Sam Swan (NBC News producer and Interim director of School of Journalism and Electronic Media at The University of Tennessee) in 2002. He worked as a cameraman for Nova TV and a video journalist for Balkan News Corp. Petko is an owner of production Izograph Ltd. He was a director of Bulgarion NGO in 2009, and director of Media Academy Bulgarion in 2012. He is a director of Masters program on Journalism, Producing and Finance, which is a partnership between Media Academy Bulgarion and VUZF University.
