Pablo Iraola started at Patagonik Film Group (2001) to develop the Latin American media market releasing more than 25 titles, like “Last Train” (which represented Uruguay at Academy Awards 2002). He moved to Portugal in 2008 to create Ukbar Filmes, with his portuguese associate. Since then, they have produced 30 featured films, among others, they produced “Bridges of Sarajevo”, an omnibus with 13 European directors (Jean-Luc Godard, Angela Schanelec…) premiered at Cannes; Licinio Azevedo’s THE TRAIN OF SALT AND SUGAR premiered at Piazza Grande - Locarno; JOAQUIM by Marcelo Gomes and THE SURGE by Daniela Thomas, both premiered at Berlinale; and THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE by Terry Gilliam, premiered as the closing film at Festival de Cannes. In 2015, he joined Muiraquitã Filmes in Brazil
