Born in the USSR, where the period of knowledge accumulation overlapped with regime changes and the childhood values were blurred by unknown challenges, Violeta studied music, literature and film directing. Throughout a series of successful collaborations with OWH Studio - the first production company in Moldova, she experimented with different notions of film and found her voice. Her films were screened in international festivals such as Dakino, Anonimul, 7 Arte, Some peasants, Jivaia voda, Golden Praga among many others. The drive to build projects with passionate people led her to take part in workshops, develop and collaborate on making new scripts with fellow filmmakers and to be an active member of the local film scene. The film she wants to make is always the one she is working on.
