Born in Łódź, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration, the Lodz Film School and DOK PRO program at Wajda School. His documentary "3 Days Of Freedom" won several awards at international film festivals including the Special Jury Prize at Huesca Short IFF, Special Jury Prize at Batumi IFF, the Special Prize at Padva Euganea IFF, a Special Mention at the "Visions du Réel" IFF and the Best Short Documentary at the T-Mobile New Horizons IFF. “3 Days of Freedom” was screened by TVP 2 and TVP Kultura and is in the US Indieflix catalog. "Runners" is Borowski's feature documentary debut.
