Andrey Sigle was born in Ghorky on the 15th of May. Proline Film Studio was established by Andrey Sigle in 2004. This studio is specialized in the art films. In December 2006 Andrey Sigle was awarded as an Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation.

Education: the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Music in Gothenburg. He has composed music for more than 40 films.
In 2004 he founded the motion-picture company “Proline Film”, the main object of which was the support of Russian art filmmaking and realization of common international projects, including: “The Sun”, “Alexandra” and “Faust” of Alexander Sokurov, “The Ugly Swans” of Konstantin Lopushansky, “Serko” of Joel Farges. In 2002 together with Dmitry Svetozarov he founded “Studio ASDS”, which is engaged in realization of cinema, TV and music projects for Russian leading TV channels.
Andrey Sigle’s creative work has been awarded with prizes of Russian and foreign festivals more than once . He’s a participant of international film forums (Cannes, Berlin, Venice).
He’s a Honoured Art Worker of Russian Federation (2006).
In 2011 – The Golden Lion for “Faust” at Venice Film Festival.
Andrey Sigle is also a member of the European Film Academy (EFA).
