KriStine Ann Skaret is one of the founders and producers in the Norwegian production company Stray Dog Productions bases in Oslo, Norway. Stray Dog was represented at IDFA 2017 with “Alleppos Fall” by Nizam Najjar, and in 2019 with the co-productions “Khartoum Offside” by Marwa Zein Arbab and “Aswang” by Alyx Arupac, winner of the Fipresci Award. Stray Dog focuses on creative documentaries and in films that inspire change and give voices to challenging views and takes on life and culture. Stine also works as a dramaturg and consultant for Mid Nordic film center, guest-teacher at the Norwegian film school and tutor on documentary films for international workshops, previously for EDN, In-Docs and Ex-Oriente. She has a BA in Aesthetics from The University of Oslo, produced several award-winning films in Medieoperatørene from 2007 – 2012, and was a documentary film consultant for the Norwegian Film Institute from 2012 – 2016, where she supported films like “Nowhere to Hide”, “The Islamist”, “Golden Dawn Girls” and “69 minutes of 87 days”.
