Jitka Čejková works as an associate professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Chemical Technology in Prague. Among other things, she is currently investigating the properties of droplets and their similarity to living cells. She published the book Robot 100, which was published in honor of Čapek’s play R.U.R. and aims to introduce the general public to the development of artificial life and intelligence, from the first use of the word “robot” to the present day.
