Gitte is senior film consultant in project development, production, financing and distribution of documentaries with international potential. She is committed mentor for Close-Up and for the Finnish Talent Development Lab Kähittämö as well as leading tutor for Ex Oriente. Since 2024 she is also committed as leading tutor by Arctic Film Norway to co-organize the annual workshop and pitch, Below Zero, in the Arctic. In addition she serves as tutor, pitch trainer and development consultant at various workshops & festivals such as IDFA, FIPADOC, Nordisk Panorama and DOKfest München. Gitte’s long experience in the international documentary industry includes executive producing, world sales and acquisitions. She holds a master of Film and Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen.
