Martin Jabs was born in 1978 and grew up in Brazil. After having lived in Germany and the USA, he started making films in Berlin. He enrolled into documentary filmmaking at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and finished his studies in 2007 with „Coffee Faces“, a documentary that has been aired six times on television worldwide. He also works as translator for a charity foundation and as photographer.
