Jacks started her career 1991 in Munich at TV channel Tele 5, as a journalist and producer. In 1997 her film LIVING IN THE GHETTO. JEWS IN HEBRON AND NEW YORK earned the Bavarian TV-Award. After working as a worldwide Chief Reporter on Air (Pro7), she directed the international documentary series SECRETS OF POWER. As author and director for films about and with Mikhail Gorbachev, George H.W. Bush and Hans-Dietrich Genscher, she had the opportunity to look behind the scenes of international power alongside of top-ranking decision makers.In 2007 she completed her first docufiction, KILLERFLU 2008. 2009 she produced two documentaries of an international series about mega constructions in Abu Dhabi.
