Synopse
A deeply personal journey across mountains, time and political borders. Artist
Melanie Manchot (born: Schubert) retraces the last steps of her half-brother Karel Schubert to
his final peak. ‘North Face’ (Philipp Stölzl, 2008) and ‘Into Thin Air’ (Robert Markowitz, 1997)
meet ‘Who do you think you are’ (2004). Against the grain of typical mountain films, this story is
told from a strong female perspective and voice, urging us to think with mountains, not to
