In his sixth year of military service, Alamdar received a phone call marking the end of an investigation into his conduct, leading to his expulsion. Struggling with this life change, he sought refuge with his grandmother, Furuza, in her country house. Furuza’s life centered around caring for her black cat and vineyard, her only connection to the outside world being the TV's constant news of the frontline conflicts. Furuza had once coerced her daughter into a loveless marriage, a decision she deeply regretted. Alamdar, born into this union, became emotionally distant over time. That summer, he and Furuza confronted their shared past and sought healing from their traumatic history.
