Synopse
A legendary Soviet tankman, outstanding doctor, author of a most famous wartime poem that was written by him at nineteen at the front: “My comrade, stop calling your friends in the agony of death. Let me warm my hands over your fuming blood.” Four times he was close to death, he miraculously escaped from starving people that planned to cannibalize him during the famine in Ukraine… Degen's tales are incredible. He captured towns, destroyed dozens of tanks, hundreds of cannons and guns... Ion Degen personally killed several hundred of German Nazis. Yes, he had to kill enemies, but he was a soldier. A warrior. One of the best in the terrible war of the people that defended their native land.
