Synopse
The director opens the door of her childhood home in Podgorica, Montenegro, for the first time in seventeen years. Facing a hard discount supermarket, it is a single fragile abandonned building to have survived a brutal political and economical transition. Inside, removing cellophane tarps reveal less her memories than the immanence of a repressed present, an immobility between the past of civil war and a future with meager illusions.
At each cardinal point of the house, a filmic territory opens to the outside world, situating the artist and questionning the place of the spectator in a new world order. A new world order initiated by the dismembering of Yugoslavia, and where War Mongers and Celebrities take over Artists in describing the world.
