Synopse
Abuse, discrimination & body shame. This is ballet in 2024. But Chase Johnsey - a gender fluid dance insurgent, wants to form a radical, diverse company that opens its doors to dancers who suffered abuse elsewhere, & give these talented, traumatised survivors a chance to fight back, on stage.
However, Chase has no money & has never directed before. The dancers are brave, but young & deeply fragile. Somehow, they must refind their self belief, fight their demons & take the stage again. It’s a story of pain, hope, defiance, & determination - to disrupt an industry, change lives, & create brilliant, liberated ballet - one choreographed step at a time.
