Her training as an ethnologist is at the heart of her interest in society and history. She has been a documentary producer for 15 years, and trained at Riff Production, where she produced documentary series and directed her first documentaries on French colonial history.
In 2009, she co-founded Drôle de Trame, and continues to produce creative documentaries on cultural and historical themes, deciphering societal transformations. She also produces audiovisuals on historical or scientific themes for museums. Virginie co-manages the documentary department, which has about twenty films in its catalog for France Télévisions, Arte, Public Sénat... For the past few years, she has also been developing webdocumentaries.
