Dmitry was born in 1988 in Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region Russia. In 2013 he graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Cybernetics, specialty "Director of Cinema and TV", workshop of S.V. Potemkin.
Member of the film school Krzysztof Zanussi (Warsaw, 2010) and the summer film school in Finland (Huvarilla, 2011).
Dima is the author of several documentary films, a participant of Russian and foreign film festivals. Nominee for the award in the field of non-fiction cinema and television "LAVR" 2014 in the category of "best debut."
