A graduate of BA Directing and Screenwriting of Fiction and Documentary Film from the Film and Television faculty at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia. A current MA Documentary student, London College of Communication at University of the Arts London, United Kingdom. Maria is a visual artist with a unique film vision and strong focus on directing, photography and art direction. She works as a freelance director and photographer in Slovakia and internationally. She has gained many signifiant skills from previous studies, professional traineeships and work experiences such as strong communicative, and visual skills with a creative and inventive approach. She is currently finishing her feature debut On Your Marks!, a project that was part of dok.incubator workshop 2019.
