Documentary filmmaker Anna Zamecka, based in Warsaw, Poland, studied journalism, anthropology and photography and finally the Dok Pro Documentary Programme at the Wajda School in Warsaw. Communion, released in 2016 was her feature length documentary film debut (debjú) and it immediately won the Grand Prix in Locarno, 2016 and in 2017 best Documentary film at the European Film Awards.
