Ion Gnatiuc is a Moldovan film producer and the founder of Haidoc Productions. With a background in Documentary Filmmaking from Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania, Ion returned to Moldova to develop film projects that reflect the untapped potential of his homeland. He is passionate about using documentary film as a tool for social change, particularly in areas where other methods have failed. Ion’s work has gained international recognition, and he has collaborated with major broadcasters such as The Guardian, Deutsche Welle, and ARTE. His recent projects include Lead for Justice, which highlights the intricacies of the Moldovan justice system, further establishing him as a significant figure in the European documentary landscape.
