Kote Kalandadze is a young Georgian director, scriptwriter, producer and musician, who gained a reputable name in the
underground music scene as the frontman of bands Nebo SSSR and Lady Heroine. Before directing his own films Kote worked in a variety of areas in cinematography. In 2014 he co-founded Parachute Films, currently producing 5 nationally supported feature films. In 2017 Kote's debut feature "The Drummer" was awarded the GNFC production grant. Kote's 2nd feature "Grey Skies" (in financing) was selected for the 2018 GNFC development grant, Midpoint Feature Launch and the Rotterdam Lab Award. Kote is an alumnus of Sarajevo Talents and Midpoint Feature Launch.
