I am a Romanian freelance filmmaker, a walker and a documentary digital nomad. In my films, I explore themes like life & death, real & virtual distances with a multimedia approach. My last documentary film As You Like It is about people choosing/changing the picture for their own gravestone and it was officially selected in over 40 festivals around the world festivals like: Karlovy-Vary, DOK Leipzig, TIFF, Astra etc, being rewarded for: best image, best social documentary, public prize and best short film.
I have developed different multimedia project, like the video-installations: Skype Virtual Installation and Site Under Construction – collaboration for the Romanian Pavilion in Venice Biennale 2014). I am also a member of EWA (European Women's Audiovisual Network) and a_Bahn team (Lux).
