Davit Stepanyan is a documentary filmmaker, born in 1981 in Yerevan, Armenia.
Holds MA in filmmaking from Armenian State Pedagogical University. He started his artistic carrier as a broadcast director at Kaym TV and Yerkir Media TV companies. In a period between 2004-2009 he worked at “Hayk” State Documentary Film Studio as a film director. Later, from 2012 to 2016 he was engaged at Utopiana.am cultural-creative NGO as a program director. Since 2013 he joint Boon knowledge-oriented online TV as a broadcast director. He is a co-founder of editorial board of Yerevan-based think-tank Political Discourse (since 2013) as well as co-founder and program director at Focus art NGO (since 2016). Since 2016 David became deeply interested in film theory.
