Eduard Cicha graduated in Directing and Screenwriting of Documentary Film at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts, where he continues to work as an internal doctoral student. He completed his master’s degree with an investigative documentary film titled The Peter Breiner Elementary Art School, which dealt with the abuse of power by the mayor of Humenné. Later, he focused primarily on short documentary work for television (a portrait of Iveta Radičová as part of the Former Prime Ministers series, Bratislava Dynamitka in the Building Slovakia series, a portrait of Andy Fantasta in the My Emigrant series). He is currently filming his feature-length documentary debut with a working title Mission.
