Staša Bajac graduated Dramaturgy at FDU Belgrade and is completing her second MA in Narrative Film at UdK Berlin.
Several short film that she wrote were screened at international festivals, winning awards. Humidity, the first feature she wrote with the director Nikola Ljuca was screened at Berlinale Forum, ACID Cannes, Sarajevo etc, winning multiple awards. Her second feature Asymmetry developed with EAVE and directed by Maša Nešković, is in post-production. She received initial development funding for her feature directorial debut.
She is a Berlinale and Sarajevo Talents alumni and a Torino Film Lab Script Lab story editing trainee. Five of her original plays have been published, staged and awarded in Serbian. She has also worked as a translator, journalist, copywriter, videographer.
