French producer of documentaries and short films. Born in Russia in 1980, Nicolaï lives and works in France since 1992. Graduated with a master's degree in trade and international management, Nicolaï choses in 2008 the path of the cinema. For ten years, he worked as line or executive producer for various production companies (Les Chauves-Souris, Crescendo Media Films, Les films du Bal, Aurora Films). In 2018, he founded his own company Les Steppes Productions together with his partner Louis Beaudemont. Since then, Nicolaï worked on numerous audiovisual projects as executive and delegated producer for French and international channels such as ARTE, TV5 Monde, Histoire TV, Current Time TV, YLE. Currently, he is mainly devoted to the development of Les Steppes short and feature catalog.
