Bojana S. Knežević was born in 1983 in Novi Sad. She finished her undergraduate and Master\'s studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, New Media Visua l Arts Department, and she is currently a final year Ph.D. student of interdisciplinary arts studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She is a multimedia artist, and in her artistic research she is conceptually and thematically tied to different identity micropolitics and recycling of manifold cultural and media content, with a focus on the role of an individual in the contemporary society. She uses different media for her projects (video, film, video installations, performance, sound).
