Cecilie Bjørnaraa established True Fiction AS in 1997 and has worked as a producer and director of documentary films and animation since then. She has produced a number of documentaries and short films, screened on festivals and television around the world. Some of the recent titles are Without Us (2022) by Julie Engaas, The Ego (2022) by Maria Lloyd and The Subharchord - a future that never happened (2021) by Ina Pillat.
Cecilie has a background from studies in documentary film and television journalism at Volda College of Journalism, and has also studied social anthropology, media science and literary science at the University of Oslo.
