Zuzana Drazilova studied production at FAMU in Prague (“The Night Tram” was a Student Oscar nominated short). In 1998-2002 she established and was running SUNFILM s.r.o. company - the distribution of 30 independent feature films in the Czech and Slovak Rep. as “Run Lola Run”, “Central Station”, “Antonia´s Line” etc. Zuzana started to produce since 2002 (as SUNFILMS s.r.o. company) documentaries on social and political themes, for example „Lost Neighbours“ series (Consultant´s Choice at the IDFA Forum; “Kids from Hartmanice” were awarded among others by “Golden Kingfisher at the “Finale Plzen” FF for “The Best Czech Documentary”. In 2008 Zuzana produced DAUGHTERS OF THE ENEMY, the testimonies of 37 Daughters of political prisoners awarded by “Golden Stars 2008” (the European Commission prize). In 2009-2011, she produced 14-parts documentary series CHILDREN OF STALINISM about the sons and daughters of political prisoners of Stalinist era in former Czechoslovakia (co-production with Czech TV).
