Aghata was born in Lodz-Poland in 1980. She moved to Spain at the age of 12. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid. Completed her cinema education with several workshops, including one with filmmaker Jose Luis Guerín, a great referent in her documentary cinematic view. She combines her work in film/video direction and production with audiovisual translations for the Spanish National Filmhouse.
