Danila Kostil was born in 1984 in Tashkent, USSR. 'My mum was a big party maker – our house was always full of people and children. Together with my brother (Luka Kostil) we made fantastic plush toy theatre shows and prepared live performances.1996 Moved to Budapest with family. \\\\\\\'I had great difficulties with Hungarian grammar so my headmaster recommended to apply to Berzsenyi - Languages, application failed but managed to push me in to Math and Physics class.\\\\\\\' As his writing skills were still to be polished, Danila prepared home assignment videos - one man shows.He co-founded The Kolin Collective together with his schoolmate Márk Linczényi, the front man of The Kolin band. University years: ELTE Russian Language and literature, webdesign and photography which was followed by Hungarian University of Art and Design - film and media design - graduating in 2011.Since 2002, when he won the first award (ARC - Europe Underground), Danila and The Kolin Collective has made a number of music videos and commercials. Versatile visual approach with outstanding music.
