Cultural Manager and Film Programmer (MA in Festival Management at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh 2012), Mon has worked in several international festivals and world-class cultural organisations that have shaped his passion for arts and film, such as the Doha Tribeca Film Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe or WOMEX - World Music Expo. He has collaborated with film institutions such as the Scottish Documentary Institute (Bridging the Gap Selecting Panel), Take One Action Film Festivals (Scotland) or FICBUEU (Spain). In 2013 he co-founded IberoDocs - Ibero-American Documentary Film Festival Scotland. He is currently the Documentary Programmer of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, where he has been working since 2012 and is part of its programming team since 2014.
