Sophia Tabatadze is a visual artist born in 1977 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She makes installations, videos and cross media projects. Her research topic is often architecture and she draws portrait of human beings by observing architecture and conditions they live in.Sophia Tabatadze completed her bachelor degree at Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. She participated in numerous international shows. In 2007 she represented Georgia at Venice biennale as well as showed her work at Istanbul Biennale the same year. Her work mainly consists of multimedia installations. Tabatadze made three art videos from 2004-2006 and short film “Gulo” in 2011 in collaboration with three other authors.
