After finishing his degree in philosophy, Robert Tasso Puetz worked as a freelance journalist for newspapers, radio and television broadcasters, such as Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, TAZ, VOX, WDR, HR, ARTE, SWR. After spending three months together filming nomads in the steppes of Mongolia, he decided to join forces with award-winning director Wolfgang Luck and establish a&o buero as a filmmakers’ cooperative. That was twenty years ago. Their motivation was to bring ambitious filmmakers together and deliver high-end, author-driven documentaries at reasonable budgets. Today, a&o buero are renown for their highly visual, well-researched films from remote regions of the world.
