Anzhela Frangyan is a female filmmaker based in Armenia. With a degree in Arts and Culture from Armenian State Pedagogical University she has over ten years of experience working as a reporter in several media companies in Armenia, and another four working as a producer and director on commercials, documentary features and TV series at Bars Media Company. Currently, Anzhela is developing two documentaries and co-producing international fiction films set in Armenia.
In 2019 Anzhela founded DoKino. Although the company is relatively new, it has already taken on three feature-length film projects which are in different stages of production – from development to post-production.
The company has presented its projects at the leading film markets and platforms, including IDFA, Baltic Sea Docs
