Lubomír Konečný studied Production at FAMU in Prague. He is a graduate of the EAVE production workshop. He worked as an line producer for Endorfilm. He worked for Barrandov Studio as head of the Film and Television Production Department. He is currently the guarantor of the Production specialisation at the Audiovisual Studio of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, the vice-chairman of the Film Incentives Commission of the State Cinematography Fund and the dramaturge of the Marienbad Film Festival. He has recently coproduced the films á-B-C-D-é-F-G-H-CH-í-JONESTOWN and Prison of History.
