Paola Sangiovanni was born in Rome in 1965, received her degree in Cinema History and Critique and for many years worked in Italian and international cinema productions as assistant director and script supervisor. She's one of the founders of the: Scuola provinciale d’arte cinematografica Gian Maria Volonté of Rome. She has directed many short films. Her first feature film is Ragazze la vita trema.
