Greenpeace is an international non-governmental organization, advocating for protection of the natural environment. The organization focuses on the most critical threats to biodiversity and the environment, both on the global and the local level. In order to maintain its independence, the organization does not accept any subsidies from governments, political parties or corporations. Activities are funded thanks to the support of individual donors. Greenpeace has been operating in Poland since 2004. The office is based in Warsaw.
