Tomasz Nuzban, born in 1975, an illegitimate child of Kurosawa and Polanski. Director, screenwriter, cameraman. The focus of his work is on independent music, culture and arts. His fascination with movies has led him to try his hand at filmmaking. His early works consist of indie films created together with his friends. To perfect his filmmaking technique and get to know film industry folk, he enrolled to Mastershot Film School in Wroclaw. When cooperating with Wroclaw music bands and artists, he managed to release energy necessary to create a film telling a story of Wroclaw punk rock scene. “For Being Alive” is his first full-length documentary.
